Multiple Events

First things first. On Kaelyn's birthday, Brylee went to work with Daddy so Kaelyn and I could go on a date by ourselves. I took her to this really awesome place in Spokane called Jump and Bounce. It's an indoor facility full of bouncy castles, giant blow-up slides, inflatable obstacle courses, and all kinds of other bouncy stuff. Kaelyn had a blast and we'll be sure to go back.
I had a hard time getting her off of the giant slide. She wanted to go down it over and over again, even though the older kids were literally stampeding her up the stairs to it.
The next evening, we had the grandparents over for pizza and cake and ice cream. I told everyone no toys, but she got spoiled with all kinds of fun stuff regardless.
Here is Kaelyn's cool ladybug cake:
...And its babies:
She's so grown up! She had her 2-year checkup today and weighs 25 pounds (still) and is 36" tall, putting her in the 95th percentile for height (yikes!) and 25th for weight.
I was on spring break last week, so for the first part of the week, me and the girls went to Seattle with my mom and my sister. We packed a lot of fun activities into a few short days.
We went to the Point Defiance zoo and aquarium. Kaelyn loved all the animals, thought the walruses were downright hilarious, and she even got to ride a camel with Auntie Mayg.
It was so windy and cold! On our way out of the zoo, I was pushing the stroller up the giant zig-zag ramp to the parking lot, trying to hurry because it was raining. Kaelyn wasn't buckled in and she fell out and I ran over her. All the passersby thought I was a pretty awesome mom, and Kaelyn got a nice scrape on her forehead from it.
These two tiny pictures were taken by Meg on the pier at Redondo Beach. I don't really know why they're so small. I guess because I stole them from her.

And finally, Easter. It was Brylee's first and Kaelyn's second. Everyone, including Brylee, ate way too much junk food that day. Meg took some awesome photos of the girls in their Easter dresses but I don't have them on here. I can't wait to get my hands on them though.
Hooray for cute girls!
