My Friday at school is my Monday at work, and my Friday at work is my Monday at school, so over the last month or so I've been seriously considering quitting my job. We got a killer tax return this year, and with Ty still working, I can probably stretch it out for up to a year. I will most likely take out a student loan though, just to be safe, which is not as big of a deal as I seem to be making it. The only debt we have right now is our mattress we bought last year, and I don't like the thought of being in more debt. And as much as I hate my job, I can't bring myself to leave it. But something has to be done, because we're drowning here.

Feb.
This is probably the longest I've ever gone without blogging, but there are good reasons for that. For one, I have turned my house inside out and cannot find my camera cord. I didn't know how to upload pictures directly from my camera's memory card without uploading all 3000 of them, but Ty finally got around to showing me how. The other reason is I've been so busy since school started back up that I can hardly see straight. I am taking fewer credits than I was last semester, but my anatomy & physiology class really is a full-time job. I'm constantly getting behind and then trying to catch up. There was even one point when I was so overwhelmed with everything that I called the registrar's office with the intention of withdrawing. But the tuition and financial aid penalties I would have faced are what made me decide to find another way of destressing. Plus, I probably wasn't thinking too rationally at that point with everything that was going on.

Kaelyn is such a spirited little girl. She is overflowing with energy and personality. She learns new words every day and is also learning to piece words together to make a phrase or short sentence. And after seemingly thousands of tears and crying fits, we have finally incorporated the word "please" into her vocabulary. We're still working on "thank you" though. She points out random objects, the names of which I never taught her, and it amazes me at how well she listens and observes. Kids really are in tune to their surroundings! Her current favorite movie is Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. Amazingly, she has given our Barney dvd's a rest for the time being.

Brylee had her half-birthday on the third. She's growing up so fast it makes me sick. She's happy and smiley and squeely and loves her big sister. She can sit up by herself and rolls around the room when she feels like it. She now weighs 16 lbs. 15 oz. which puts her in the 75th percentile for weight and 80th for height. She's much bigger than Kaelyn was at this age but she is just perfect and I love pinching her chubba cheeks and her chunka thighs. Who knew chubby babies were so much fun?

They're adorable!
I totally think you should focus on school if you can and quit working. I know it's super hard to do all of it!! And school is more important...and Brittany student loans are not bad!! NOT BAD!!
